Oracle Fusion Engineer

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

Andersen is looking for an Oracle Fusion Engineer in Abu Dhabi for a UAE government project focused on digital transformation and improving public services and operations.

The customer is a government entity that manages public affairs and oversees various corporate and philanthropic projects. The company is embarking on a transformative digital journey to enhance its operational efficiency and customer experiences.

The project focuses on digital transformation in the UAE to develop and support digital solutions, enhance social services, strengthen public engagement, advance international relations, and optimize administrative processes.

Technology stack: Oracle Fusion, WebLogic, SOA Suite, OIC, SQL, PL/SQL, BI Publisher/XML Publisher, Fusion Data Extracts, FBDI/HDL, SOAP/REST.

Responsibilities:
- Providing technical support during implementation, upgrade, and maintenance of Oracle Fusion Applications.

- Configuring, customizing, and optimizing modules within Fusion ERP/HCM/SCM based on business needs.

- Designing and building data integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and web services (SOAP/REST).

- Developing and maintaining BI Publisher reports, OTBI dashboards, and data extracts.

- Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to workflows, approvals, roles, and security.

- Performing data loading and transformation using FBDI, HDL, and HCM Spreadsheet Loader.

- Collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.

- Monitoring system performance, running diagnostics, and ensuring stability and compliance with SLAs.

- Documenting technical configurations, integration mappings, and standard operating procedures.

- Participating in testing cycles, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.

- Staying current with Oracle quarterly updates, new Fusion features, and best practices.

- Providing training and knowledge transfer to internal IT and support teams.

Must-have:

- Experience with Oracle development for 4+ years.

- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, or Financials modules).

- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Middleware technologies (WebLogic, SOA Suite, OIC).

- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS/PaaS integrations.

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and BI Publisher/XML Publisher.

- Experience with Fusion Data Extracts (BIP, OTBI) and FBDI/HDL data loading tools.

- Familiarity with Web Services (SOAP/REST) for integrations with external systems.

- Experience in workflow customization, approval rules, and BPM configuration.

- Understanding of role-based security (RBAC), user provisioning, and duty roles in Fusion.

- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze Fusion Application performance and errors.

- Familiarity with Fusion Application patching, environment cloning, and release cycles.

- Excellent documentation and communication skills; ability to collaborate across functional teams.

- Level of English – from Intermediate+ and above.

Nice-to-haves:

- Experience with source control tools (Git, SVN) and CI/CD pipelines.
