Education & Experience:

  • bachelor's degree in : Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Information Systems, or a closely related discipline. Advanced degrees or Oracle Hyperion/EPM certifications are considered an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Hyperion Planning solutions in complex enterprise or government environments.
  • Strong functional expertise in Hyperion Planning and Oracle EPMA, including application design, metadata management, business rules, workflows, approvals, and user security aligned with planning and budgeting processes.
  • Proven experience with Hyperion Essbase from a planning and calculation perspective, including business rules, aggregation strategies, performance optimization, and multidimensional model design to support forecasting and budgeting requirements.
  • Solid working experience with FDMEE and Data Management to support planning data loads, validations, mappings, reconciliation, and coordination with source financial systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Financial Reporting (FR) and Enterprise Performance Reporting Cloud Service (EPRCS) to design, develop, and maintain planning, budgeting, and management reports for business users.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business, financial, and planning requirements into effective Hyperion Planning solutions, working closely with finance stakeholders, end users, and technical teams.

Role and responsibility:

  • Provide functional ownership and expert support for Oracle Hyperion Planning within the Maliyah platform during postimplementation, ensuring effective adoption, stability, and continuous improvement of planning and budgeting processes.
  • Lead and support budget preparation, budget execution, and budget oversight processes, including the design and maintenance of planning models for receipts, annual revenues, forecasting, projections, and cash forecasting in alignment with government financial frameworks.
  • Act as the functional escalation point for complex planning and budgeting issues raised by the primary Maliyah support team, performing analysis and resolution in collaboration with technical teams where required.
  • Design, configure, and maintain Hyperion Planning applications, including planning models, business rules, workflows, approvals, data forms, and user security to support organizational planning requirements.
  • Develop, modify, and enhance budget preparation and management reports within Maliyah using Hyperion Planning, Financial Reporting (FR), and EPRCS to meet evolving business and stakeholder needs.
  • Design and maintain planning data forms, validations, and user interfaces, making enhancements based on approved business requirements and feedback from finance and planning stakeholders.
  • Support data integration and validation activities in coordination with FDMEE and Data Management teams to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across planning cycles.
  • Provide end-user support, functional troubleshooting, and guidance to planning and finance users, ensuring correct system usage and adherence to approved budgeting processes
  • Deliver user training, workshops, and knowledge transfer on Hyperion Planning functionality, planning models, and budgeting workflows to build internal capability and reduce dependency on external support.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance planning efficiency, reporting quality, and forecasting accuracy within the Hyperion Planning environment.
