Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) consultant

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) Consultant to lead and deliver

end‑to‑end OIA implementations, with a particular focus on leveraging OIA to enable complex

billing solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep functional knowledge of OIA rules and

rating design, along with insights on the technology architecture allowing integration with

downstream Oracle Subscription management application. Should have strong consulting skills

to engage stakeholders, drive key design decisions, and translate business requirements into

scalable, high‑quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Conduct Design Sessions

• Facilitate workshops with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, clarify

objectives, and validate solution approaches.

• Translate stakeholder input into user stories and decisions.

2. Identify & Finalize Key Design Decisions

• Evaluate solution options and recommend best‑fit designs aligned with enterprise

standards and future‑state architecture.

• Gather approval of critical design decisions with stakeholders across the Globe.

3. Document User Stories & Perform Fit/Gap Analysis

• Break down high‑level requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance

criteria.

• Map current capabilities against OIA out‑of‑the‑box functionality, identifying

configuration needs, extensions, or workarounds.

4. Develop Future‑State Process Flows

• Create end‑to‑end process flow diagrams illustrating how OIA will orchestrate pricing,

and billing rules within the solution landscape.

• Ensure alignment with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., Subscription

management, Integration platform (AWS))

5. Author Functional Specification Designs

• Produce functional specifications covering data models, rule logic, integrations, and

user interface behavior.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications are fully understood

and feasible to implement.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
