Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in managing Oracle databases (RAC, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery), Linux servers, and VMware virtualization platforms. The candidate will be responsible for provisioning, administration, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise database and virtualization infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability in a 24/7 operations environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Oracle databases including RAC, Data Guard, and backup/recovery solutions.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Linux server environments, including installation, configuration, performance optimization, and security hardening.
• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware environments including vSphere, HA, DRS, and vSAN.
• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for databases and virtualized environments.
• Participate in capacity planning, infrastructure upgrades, and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support managed services delivery and 24/7 NOC operations.
• Implement ITIL-based processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior team members.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Proficiency in Linux server administration (Red Hat, CentOS, or equivalent).
• Solid experience with VMware vSphere, HA, DRS, and vSAN.
• Knowledge of scripting and automation in Linux (Shell, Bash, Python).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certifications.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and virtualized storage solutions.
• Familiarity with database replication, clustering, and disaster recovery strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs250,000.00 - Rs350,000.00 per month
