Jr. SQL Database executive

Job Description

• Installation & Maintenance: Install, configure, patch, and upgrade SQL Server database instances and associated software.
• Performance Monitoring & Tuning: Proactively monitor database system health and performance, identify bottlenecks, optimize slow-running queries, and manage indexes and server configurations.
• Backup & Recovery: Design, implement, manage, and test backup and recovery plans to ensure data integrity, availability, and business continuity.
• Security & Access Control: Implement and manage security measures, control user access permissions and privileges, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, data privacy laws).
• Disaster Recovery (DR): Implement and manage DR solutions, replication, or clustering, to maximize uptime.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with developers, application teams, and other IT staff to design database schemas, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-to-end technical support.
• Automation & Scripting: Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell,) to automate routine administrative tasks and improve efficiency.
• Documentation & Capacity Planning: Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations and procedures, and perform capacity planning to predict growth and plan for necessary hardware upgrades.

Job Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Strong knowledge of SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, MS SQL Server, or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of database relationships, indexes, and constraints

Timings : 2pm - 11 pm

Location : Pechs block 2 (Onsite opportunity)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 - Rs70,000.00 per month
