Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgeon to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge in various surgical procedures and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This role requires proficiency in both general and specialized surgical techniques, with a focus on ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
Responsibilities
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, including but not limited to oral surgery, dental extractions, root canal therapy, and prosthodontics.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine the appropriate surgical interventions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection during surgeries.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure effective four-handed dentistry practices.
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up assessments for patients.
- Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques and dental technologies, including proficiency in software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix.
- Educate patients about their conditions, treatment options, and post-operative care instructions.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy.
- Proficiency in infection control protocols and medical imaging techniques.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry and understanding of the unique needs of pediatric patients.
- Familiarity with endodontics and general dentistry practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Previous experience in a dental office or clinic setting is preferred. Pay: $500,000.00 - $900,000.00 per year
