Oral Surgeon Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oral Surgeon to join our dental team. The ideal oral surgery candidate will possess extensive knowledge and experience in various surgical procedures, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. This role requires proficiency in wisdom teeth extractions and Implant oral surgery. The Oral Surgeon will be responsible for assessing patients, performing surgeries, and ensuring compliance with medical documentation and HIPAA regulations.

Oral Surgeon Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine the need for surgical intervention.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including sinus lifts
• Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures.
• Document all medical findings and procedures accurately in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in pre-operative planning and post-operative evaluations.
• Provide post-operative care and follow-up assessments to ensure optimal recovery for patients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in surgical techniques and technologies relevant to the field.

Oral surgeon Experience

• Proven experience in general dentistry, and surgical fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation practices and compliance with HIPAA regulations is essential.
• Proficient in the use of Dentrix dental practice management software is a plus.
• Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families.
• Experience with medical imaging technologies like CBCT is advantageous.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $1,200.00 - $1,700.00 per day
