Summary:
Provides outpatient oral surgery services, supports resident education, and assists the Dental Director as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive oral surgery care, including consultations, simple and complex extractions, biopsies, and management of disease and trauma.

• Refer patients to appropriate dental or medical specialists when necessary.

• Coordinate with medical and nursing teams to address overall patient needs.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical documentation.

• Provide age-appropriate, patient-centered care with demonstrated clinical competence.

• Precept and mentor dental residents.

  
  

Qualifications

• D.D.S. or D.M.D. from an accredited dental school.

• NYS dental license.

• Two years’ experience as a general dentist preferred.

• Strong clinical, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.

• Experience with dental EMRs preferred.

• Commitment to community health; bilingual Spanish preferred.
