Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of oral surgical procedures such as dental extractions, wisdom teeth removal, and implant placements with precision and care.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical and dental history review, to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques to diagnose conditions accurately and plan surgical interventions effectively.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy.
• Collaborate seamlessly with general dentists, pediatric dentists, prosthodontists, and other specialists to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Apply aseptic techniques and infection control protocols rigorously during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Educate patients on preoperative preparations, postoperative care, and ongoing oral health maintenance for optimal recovery and satisfaction.

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to oral surgery.
• Proficiency in using dental practice management software such as Practice Web
• Expertise in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and reduce procedure time.
• Familiarity with medical imaging tools like X-rays or CBCT scans for accurate diagnosis.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate patient care while managing complex cases involving infection control and medical records management.
