Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receiving patients
- Viewing patient charts
- Begin patient preparation for surgery
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Surgical tools cleaning and sterilization
- Taking dental x-rays
- Taking impressions and pouring casts
- Checking vital signs or maintaining IV fluid flows during procedures. and assisting in oral surgery procedures
- Recovering patients after anesthesia - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare professionals

As a Oral Surgery Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients. Your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, assisting with medical procedures, performing medical coding, maintaining accurate medical records, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. To excel in this role, you should have proficiency in vital sign assessment, medical coding, patient assessment systems, assisting with medical procedures, medical records management, and infection control practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential for effective collaboration with patients and healthcare professionals.
