Oral Surgery Assistant

A busy oral surgery practice in Cary, NC, specializing in the full scope of oral surgery, including the administration of IV anesthesia, wisdom teeth extraction, dental implant placement, bone grafting, and oral pathology, is currently seeking an experienced Oral Surgery Assistant. We are committed to providing the safest and most effective care in a warm, compassionate environment. As a part of the surgical team, an assistant will be required to:

Greet and prepare patients for treatment, and Record and update their medical and dental histories.

Take digital images. Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including sterilization.

Explain procedures as well as pre- and post-operative care to patients

Assist in maintaining facility supplies and inventory

Help patients with medical questions and schedule follow-up appointments as needed

Assist Dr. Waack in surgery.

The qualified candidate will be a Registered Dental Assistant with at least two years of experience assisting in Oral Surgery.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
