Oral Surgery Assistant

The Physician Assistant is also responsible for working with the Surgeon to develop new surgical techniques and acquire new knowledge. This position requires a commitment to scientific inquiry and a detailed understanding of human anatomy. Responsibilities: \* Provide advice about medical treatment plans based on primary care physicians' and surgeons' input. \* Perform medical procedures as directed by primary care physicians. \* Provide first aid and emergency treatment to minor injuries and illnesses. \* Apply dressings and bandages. \* Explain procedures to patients. \* Monitor patient during recovery and report to primary care physician. \* Order lab tests and imaging studies. \* Provide emotional and psychological support to patients during recovery.

Pay: $18.00 per hour
