At Red Rock Oral & Facial Surgery, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive and dynamic environment. We’re currently seeking a Full-Time Oral Surgery Assistant to join our team and play a vital role in our mission.

What You’ll Do

As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you’ll help ensure smooth and efficient clinical operations. Your responsibilities will include:

Surgical Support

• Assist the oral surgeon during procedures by passing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating needs.

Consultation Support

• Take patient histories, assist with treatment explanations, and help recover sedated patients.

Prosthetic Assistance

• Support implant and prosthetic procedures by preparing materials, assisting with placement, and taking impressions.

Operatory Preparation

• Set up and sterilize treatment rooms with all necessary instruments and supplies.

Imaging

• Operate and maintain panoramic and cone-beam CT scanning equipment.

Instrument Sterilization

• Clean, sterilize, and store surgical instruments and equipment.

Pre- and Post-Operative Care

• Provide patients with clear instructions on fasting, medications, wound care, pain management, and dietary guidelines.

Confidentiality

• Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and practice policies.

Inventory Management

• Monitor and manage clinical supply levels and assist with ordering as needed.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Dental Assistant (required)
• Radiation certificate (preferred)
• 1+ year of dental assisting experience (required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday (Full-time)
