Order Booker Job Description
An Order Booker is responsible for visiting customers or retail outlets, taking product orders, and ensuring timely delivery by coordinating with the company’s sales and distribution teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned shops/clients daily to take product orders
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Ensure proper booking of orders using manual or digital systems
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Provide information about new products, promotions, and discounts
- Monitor stock levels at shops and suggest restocking
- Coordinate with delivery teams to ensure timely supply
- Collect customer feedback and report market trends to management
- Maintain accurate records of orders and customer details
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum education: Matric / Intermediate (Bachelor’s preferred)
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of sales and customer handling
- Ability to work in the field and travel locally
- Familiarity with mobile apps or order booking systems is a plus
- Self-motivated and target-oriented
Experience
- Fresh candidates can apply
- 1–2 years of sales or field experience is preferred
