Order Entry Technician

Job Overview

We are looking for an Order Entry Technician (PM SHIFT) to join our team! This role is crucial for providing us with valuable assistance with our daily prescription orders and ultimately servicing our patients. As an Order Entry Technician, you will ensure that medication orders from our nursing homes/customers are entered accurately into Framework LTC software.

Qualifications:

-Pharmacy Technician License/Certification - required

• Problem solving and triaging/prioritization
• Able to multi-task
• Computer skills and able to utilize currently available software
• Knowledge of business English, spelling and commercial arithmetic.
• Positive demeanor and attitude. Must be able to build rapport/good working relationships with technicians as well as other co-workers in the pharmacy.
• Ability to write in a clear and legible manner.
• Able to work rotating shifts and weekends
• Efficiency
• Punctuality

Responsibilities

Order Entry for new/refill medications

-Input orders in a timely and accurate manner

-Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

Pharmacy Technician License/Certification - required

Experience:

Two years of Pharmacy experience. Long term care experience preferred

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
