Order Flow Tech - 3rd Shift

Job Summary

​​​​The primary function of this position is to ensure that product for orders flow through the distribution center efficiently. Maintain and support all trauma lanes, hospital lane, and tape machine/label apply. This includes providing warehouse support for issues within WMi and WCS.​​

Associate Responsibilities

Resolve issues within WMI, WCS and warehouse automation as first level support system technician

Help to determine root cause of issues that interfere with order fulfillment and coordinate cross functionally with IT, operations, inventory control or others to create and implement solutions

Coordinate with control room personnel to investigate missing cartons and manage exceptions to product flow in the distribution center

Communicate daily KPIs and status reports to peers and leaders in the distribution center

Create and complete reports as necessary

Monitor trauma line or area in inbound and outbound

Understand and support product flow in all areas of the distribution center

Report problems in work area to appropriate personnel in a timely manner

Ensure each job performed is within set procedural work methods

Conform to all requirements of internal and external Carhartt customers

Required Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Required Skills & Experience

Proficient computer skills

Previous experience with WMi, WCS, and/or other applications preferred

1 year of experience working in a distribution center, manufacturing or production environment

Must be able to climb stairs

Ability to deal with stress in a composed and constructive manner

Ability to positively interact with other associates

Ability to work in a job with precise tolerances and standards

Ability to read fine print for extended periods

Ability to adjust to doing multiple tasks
