Order Fulfillment Associate

TheatreWorld Backdrops, a hand-painted Backdrop Rental Company, is looking for an Order Fulfillment Associate to join the team! The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, able to stand, walk, bend, and use a ladder to pull & fulfill rental package orders, steam & inspect the backdrops, and fold/pack the backdrops for shipping.

We provide large backdrops for Theatre, Dance, and Entertainment groups nationwide for their shows and events. Due to the number of returning clients and the volume of orders, we are looking for someone who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high accuracy and quality. This position is in an air-conditioned warehouse, located in Oldsmar, FL.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Order selection/fulfillment experience.
• In good physical condition and capable of lifting at least 50 pounds, standing for extended periods of time, able to climb steps and ladders, and capable of bending, stooping, twisting, and carrying products up steps and down walkways;
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work;
• Fluent in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English;
• Must be able to count inventory and use basic computer programs accurately: Excel, Outlook, and Internet. Having experience with shipping software is a plus.
• Positive attitude, Accountable, Honest, and a Team player.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick and pull backdrops, by hand, from warehouse shelves based on the order sheet; We do not use forklifts or automated order pickers, everything is manual due to the delicate nature of the backdrops.
• Package and prepare pulled orders for shipment, including labeling of packages;
• Stage pulled orders as directed by supervisor;
• Assist in unloading orders and receiving backdrops;
• Fold, steam, and accurately put away backdrops onto shelves according to the mapped layout;
• Responsible for housekeeping lists in your assigned area;
• Perform any other miscellaneous duties as assigned;
• Must maintain a professional attitude towards customers, co-workers, vendors, and management.

Hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday, for 37.5 hours a week. No Weekends. Overtime potential during peak seasons.

Pay: $16.50/hour
