Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Order & Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. In this dynamic role, you will oversee the coordination of order processing and production schedules, ensuring seamless communication between departments to meet production targets efficiently. Your mechanical knowledge and factory experience will be vital in managing assembly lines, handling warehouse operations, and supporting manufacturing workflows. Key Responsibilities
- Review incoming client orders for accuracy, including quantities, sizes, decoration methods, and deadlines
- Input orders into the production workflow system to ensure readiness before production
- Coordinate with embroidery and screen-print teams to schedule jobs based on priority and capacity
- Ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of orders
- Place orders with apparel suppliers and verify product availability
- Ensure correct styles, colors, sizes, and quantities arrive on time
- Organize client artwork files and submit for digitizing or screen preparation
- Manage proof approvals with clients prior to production
- Respond to client inquiries and confirm order details
- Provide timely updates on order and production status
- Create and distribute detailed work orders outlining decoration methods, placements, colors, and special instructions
- Monitor incoming blanks, thread, ink, and materials to ensure production readiness
- Assist in verifying finished goods meet approved proofs and order specifications
- Prepare shipping labels and coordinate packaging
- Ensure orders are shipped accurately and on schedule
- Communicate with external vendors including digitizers, screen makers, and decorators
- Track orders through all production stages to prevent delays
- Maintain organized order records and update internal systems
- Support production management with daily operational tasks
Preferred Qualifications (Highly Desired)
- Experience in screen printing or embroidery production
- Familiarity with blank apparel suppliers (e.g., SanMar, S&S Activewear, AlphaBroder)
- Knowledge of embroidery file formats (DST, PES) and digitizing processes
- Understanding of screen printing pre-press (separations, mesh counts, ink types)
- Familiarity with garment decoration terminology (plastisol inks, discharge printing, puff embroidery, etc.)
- Experience with production management software (Printavo, InkSoft, ShopWorks)
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or handling vector artwork
- Shipping and fulfillment experience with UPS, FedEx, or USPS

Pay: $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
