Overview
FEITIAN US is seeking a highly organized Order & Logistics Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of customer orders—from order entry and coordination with sales, through inventory planning, picking/packing, and shipment for both domestic and international customers. This role sits in the US office (not only in the warehouse) and requires strong communication, data accuracy, and ownership of day-to-day operations to ensure orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
You will work closely with our sales/marketing, accounting/finance, 3PL, and HQ teams to:
- Process and monitor customer purchase orders
- Manage inventory levels in US and HQ locations
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments and resolve logistics issues
Key Responsibilities
1) Order Processing & Customer Support
- Receive, review, and enter customer purchase orders into the ERP/Order Management system.
- Verify pricing, terms, product availability, and shipping instructions with sales and customers.
- Provide order confirmations, lead times, and shipping updates to customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate with Sales, Engineer, Finance to resolve order discrepancies, backorders, or special requests.
2) Inventory Management
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for FEITIAN products at US locations.
- Monitor inventory levels, anticipate shortages, and propose replenishment or transfer plans.
- Perform regular inventory checks/reconciliations and support cycle counts/annual physical counts.
- Prepare basic inventory reports (on-hand, in-transit, reserved for orders) for management review.
3) Order Fulfillment & Shipping (Domestic & International)
- Coordinate with 3PL to ensure accurate picking, packing, and labeling of orders.
- Oversee domestic and international shipment arrangements, including carrier bookings and scheduling.
- Prepare and review shipping and export documents, such as:
- Bill of Lading / Air Waybill
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- COO and other compliance documents as required
- Manage customs clearance process and ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Track and trace shipments; proactively communicate any delays and drive issue resolution with carriers, 3PL, and customers.
4) Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Maintain and improve order, shipping, and inventory processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify and escalate recurring issues (shipping, system, or process) and suggest practical improvements.
- Support other operational activities as needed for the FEITIAN US office.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong experience in order processing, logistics coordination, and inventory management, ideally in a technology or hardware company.
- Solid understanding of domestic and international shipping practices, including customs documentation and compliance.
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with ERP or inventory management systems is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable working with customers, HQ, and cross-functional teams.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate with data and documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset and sense of ownership.
Education & Experience
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in order management, logistics, or supply chain operations (international experience a plus).
- Familiarity with logistics/shipping software and inventory management tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
