Position Description

The Organizational Performance Advisor supports enterprise-wide strategy execution through performance management. This role leads the development and reporting of metrics at the officer and director levels, and works to ensure accountability. This position supports leadership decision making through helping them prioritize, identify opportunities, and remove barriers. The advisor brings data to life in ways that support informed decision making and continuous improvement. This position will report to Manager of Strategic Planning and Organizational Performance.

Job Responsibilities

Here is more about what you’ll be doing:

  • Own the organizational performance management framework, including proposing improvements to the organizational performance process annually.

  • Lead development and refinement of strategic metrics aligned with organizational focus areas and outcomes.

  • Partner with officers and directors to review performance, identify off-track areas, and support root cause analysis and corrective action planning.

  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboard that support strategic oversight and transparency.

  • Collaborate across departments to ensure data-informed decision making and measurable impact

  • Support alignment between performance outcomes, employee engagement, action plans, and executive priorities.

  • Support other Office of Chief of Staff assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
In addition to the skills and experience mentioned below, a successful applicant will have experience that reflects a commitment to creating fair and equitable outcomes and has:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in public administration, organizational development, business administration, infrastructure planning, or a related field (or a combination of education and/or training and/or work experience which provides an equivalent background required to perform the work of this position).

Experience: Minimum two years of experience designing and implementing performance metrics across complex organizations. Minimum five years’ experience managing cross-functional projects across both leadership and staff levels of an organization.

Certification/License:
Current valid state issued driver’s license from any US state to be verified prior to start date. Out of state license holders will be required to obtain a WA state license within 30 days of hire.

Additional Information

The full salary range for this position is $54.60to $81.93 per hour.
