Job description:

Our client, a business conglomerate in Qatar is recruiting health care staff for their state-of-the-art cardiac center with a capacity of 89 beds in Libya.

Position: Orientation and Training Nursing Educator

Location: Misrata, Libya

Salary: $3,500-$4,000 (12,740.00 (QAR) - 14,560.00 (QAR) (10-12% Tax will be deducted)

Joining Flight Ticket: Provided by Company

Accommodation and Transportation: Provided by company

Annual Vacation: 30 days paid vacation with a round-trip flight ticket.

Job Summary

The Orientation and Training Nursing Educator is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating nursing orientation and education programs to ensure nurses are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and competencies required for safe, high-quality patient care. This role focuses on the onboarding of newly hired nurses, the continuous development of existing staff, and the promotion of evidence-based practices. The educator plays a critical role in professional growth, staff retention, and advancing quality standards within the healthcare organization.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Development

  • Develop and deliver structured orientation programs for newly hired nurses.
  • Design and implement continuing education and competency-based training modules.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Coordinate preceptorship and mentorship programs to support clinical integration.
  • Organize simulation-based learning sessions and clinical skills workshops.

Curriculum & Policy Alignment

  • Align all educational programs with hospital policies, accreditation requirements, and international best practices.
  • Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess training needs and address knowledge gaps.
  • Regularly update curricula and training materials to incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.

Performance & Quality Improvement

  • Assess and validate clinical competencies of nursing staff during orientation and beyond.
  • Provide individualized coaching, feedback, and remedial training as necessary.
  • Contribute to hospital accreditation efforts and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of training activities, staff competencies, and compliance records.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Partner with Nursing Directors, Clinical Educators, and Department Heads in shaping workforce development.
  • Act as a consultant and resource for nursing staff seeking professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of lifelong learning, collaboration, and patient-centered care across the nursing workforce.

Job Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong expertise in adult learning principles, instructional design, and clinical education.
  • Proficiency in developing and delivering training curricula and educational resources.
  • Exceptional presentation, teaching, and facilitation skills.
  • Competence in assessing clinical performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and hospital EMR systems (SAP or equivalent preferred).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10–12 years of overall nursing experience.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Nursing Educator, Clinical Instructor, or Trainer.
  • Previous experience in GCC or international healthcare institutions (preferred).

Education

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing Education (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required).
