Position Summary

The New Hire Orientation Specialist plays a key role in delivering an exceptional onboarding experience for newly hired security officers and staff. This position is responsible for administering Securitas’ First Day Orientation program and ensuring all required employment documents, compliance forms, and onboarding tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. The specialist serves as a welcoming ambassador of the company, helping new employees feel informed, supported, and prepared for success in their new roles.


Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate First Day Orientation in a professional and engaging manner.
  • Ensure completion of all new hire documents
  • Review paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain secure, organized onboarding records.
  • Assist new hires with questions about next steps, training, and employment procedures.
  • Coordinate with HR, Recruiting, and Operations to support smooth onboarding.


Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and compliance tasks.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with standard office technology (Microsoft Office, Teams, Outlook; experience with HRIS is a plus).
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in HR, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in onboarding, HR support, training, or administrative coordination strongly preferred.
