Orthodontic Assistant

Welmerink & Utter Orthodontics is seeking a dependable, experienced full-time Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing practice. We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are looking for a skilled team member who takes pride in their work, values consistency, and can confidently contribute from day one.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures
• Take high-quality digital X-rays and clinical photographs
• Prepare and break down treatment rooms efficiently
• Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and treatment instructions
• Accurately document patient records using Ortho2 software
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Dental or orthodontic experience preferred
• Strong understanding of dental anatomy and imaging
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A positive team player with strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated and dependable
