Orthodontic Assistant

We are an orthodontic office committed to excellent patient care and impeccable customer service. We strive to make every visit a great experience for those who visit our office. The open position will be filled by someone who will work closely with patients. Therefore, this person must have a friendly, upbeat personality and have great people and communication skills. Being positive and naturally helpful is a must for this position. Previous orthodontic or dental x-ray experience is not necessary, but a plus.

Responsibilities:

* Taking high quality photos and x-rays of new and existing patients
* Being personable and friendly to every person that visits the office
* Collecting information from new patients
* Sterilizing dental instruments

* Participate in activities outside of the office, including promotional events, training, team building events, etc.

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
* A friendly, personable, professional personality. The skills needed for the position will be trained, but the right personality type is a must

* Previous orthodontic or dental experience is a plus, but not required
