Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Legler Orthodontics is looking for an Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in Vero Beach, Fort Pierce, and Port St. Lucie, Florida!

Applicant must be outgoing, friendly, high energy and able to work quickly and independently. They also must be able to deliver the first-class care and customer service that Legler Orthodontics is known to deliver.

What You’ll Do

· Provide the Ultimate Patient Experience to every patient

· Educate the patients on orthodontic care and establish trusting rapport

· Assist in patient care including assisting in placing and removing orthodontic appliances, and taking full records to include panos, cephs, and 3-D scans

· Maintain patients’ charts and transcribe the doctor notes accurately

· Perform some laboratory procedures

· Keep chairs stocked and organized as well as clean, sterilize, and prepare the equipment

· Assist in Local Marketing and community events

What You’ll Need

· High School Diploma or equivalent required

· Some dental/orthodontic industry experience is helpful, but not required

· FL Registered Dental Assistant Certification/ License

· FL Radiography Certification
