Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Sage Family Orthodontics (formerly DeGuzman Orthodontics) is looking for a friendly, Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team! We're a modern patient-focused practice that values compassion, teamwork, and creating beautiful confident smiles in a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Assist the orthodontist with patient and chairside procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
• Take orthodontic records including photos, x-rays and digital scans
• Adjust wires and place brackets under the doctors supervision
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
• Pour models and fabricate retainers

What We're Looking For:

• Previous orthodontic or dental assisting experience preferred (but we'll train the right person!)
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Detail oriented, reliable, and eager to learn
• Current X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

We currently have two locations. Hilliard and Pickerington. A typical work week includes 4 days alternating M-Th, and Friday (half day); 2 in Hilliard, 2 in Pickerington.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 32 per week
