Orthodontic Dental Assistant

Dental Records Technician — Photos & X-Rays | Garcia Orthodontics (Kendall)

Garcia Orthodontics is one of Miami's premier orthodontic practices — a legacy practice founded in 1978, with a real team, thousands of happy patients, and 4,500+ five-star Google reviews. Our state-of-the-art Kendall office is hiring a Records Technician to join our growing team.

This is a hands-on, patient-facing role at the front of the patient experience. You'll greet patients and families, walk them through their records appointment, and capture the photos and X-rays our doctors rely on for treatment planning. If you bring genuine warmth, sharp attention to detail, and pride in your work, you'll fit right in.

What You'll Do

  • Meet and greet patients and families with warmth and professionalism
  • Take intraoral and extraoral photographs to clinical standards
  • Capture panoramic and cephalometric X-rays
  • Take digital and alginate impressions
  • Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, organized workstation
  • Walk patients through after-care instructions clearly and kindly
  • Coordinate with the clinical team to keep the day running smoothly

What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of dental or orthodontic experience (required)
  • Florida Dental Radiography Certification — current, or willingness to obtain before start date (required)
  • Fully fluent in English and Spanish (required)
  • Warm, upbeat, and genuinely people-oriented personality
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy
  • Dependable, punctual, and organized
  • Comfortable adapting as the day shifts — no two patient flows are identical
  • A real team player who communicates well and takes ownership

This Role Is a Great Fit If You Are

  • Dependable — reliable, punctual, and consistent
  • People-oriented — energized by patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Detail-oriented — proud of accurate, high-quality work
  • Adaptable — comfortable with the flow of a busy clinical day

Schedule

  • 32–40+ hours per week
  • Typical hours: 8:45 AM – 5:45 PM
  • On-site only (Kendall office)

Clinical Setting

Orthodontic specialty practice with nearly five decades of legacy — modern, energetic, team-driven.
