Orthodontic Dental Assistant

We are searching for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who is looking to make a long-term commitment to our team. Essential Job Functions

• Establish a trusting rapport with patients and provide exceptional customer service.
• Educate patients on orthodontic care, appliance use, and treatment practices.
• Assist chairside with placing and removing orthodontic appliances.
• Take diagnostic records including X-rays, photos, and digital scans.
• Maintain accurate patient records and transcribe doctor notes.
• Keep treatment rooms clean, stocked, and organized; sterilize instruments and prepare equipment.
• Support the clinical team and contribute to an excellent patient experience.

What Makes the Perfect Fit

• At least 2 years of orthodontic assisting experience.
• Current Indiana Radiology License (required).
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Compassionate and service-oriented, with genuine care for patients, parents, and coworkers.
• Dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Organized, efficient, and adaptable in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Excellent time management and consistent availability.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Open to feedback, training, and ongoing learning.
• Proficient with technology, including experience with Invisalign systems, iTero scanner, and orthodontic practice management software.

Required Experience

• Orthodontics: 2 years (required)
• Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
• Indiana Radiology License (required)

Pay: $22.00 - $29.00 per hour
