We run a 4-day and 2-day rotating operation that builds in flexibility for personal time. The Role

We're looking for an experienced Orthodontic Assistant who's confident chairside, great with patients, and ready to be a dependable part of a high-quality clinical team. What You'll Do

• Provide skilled chairside assisting throughout orthodontic procedures
• Place and remove bands, brackets, archwires, and appliances per the doctor's direction
• Take impressions, intraoral scans, photos, and X-rays
• Educate patients and parents on treatment, oral hygiene, and appliance care
• Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize and maintain instruments, and keep clinical areas stocked and ready
• Manage lab cases — uploading documents and submitting lab orders accurately
• Keep accurate clinical notes and support smooth daily patient flow
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented clinic atmosphere

What We're Looking For

Must-haves

• Hands-on orthodontic assisting experience (2+ years preferred)
• Current California credentials for the role (e.g., RDA or Orthodontic Assistant Permit as applicable)
• Radiation Safety / X-ray certification
• Strong chairside skills and attention to detail
• Warm, clear communicator who puts patients at ease
• Reliable, organized, and a genuine team player

Bonus

• Experience with 3D scanning and digital orthodontic workflows
• Familiarity with clear aligner systems
• Bilingual (a plus, not required)
• Knowledge of Dolphin Management, iTero scanning

Schedule

• Full-time, 4-day and 2-day rotating schedule with built-in flexibility for personal time
