Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator & Office Support

Larson Orthodontic Specialists has a unique opportunity for an energetic, enthusiastic, and positive team player to join our growing practice!

We are seeking a professional, highly organized, and self-motivated individual to join our team in a role centered around Treatment Coordinating, while also providing support in other areas of the practice as needed. While treatment coordinating may make up a large portion — or even the majority — of this role, we want candidates to understand that this position is designed to be fluid and team-oriented. Depending on practice needs, this individual may also assist in areas such as front desk support, dental assisting, scheduling, patient communication, and financial or administrative tasks.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Welcome and guide new patients through the initial consultation process
  • Present treatment plans alongside the orthodontist and help ensure a smooth transition into care
  • Communicate confidently and effectively with patients and parents throughout the treatment process
  • Support pre-treatment recall systems and follow-up communication
  • Maintain communication with referring offices
  • Help create an exceptional patient experience from the first visit through treatment acceptance
  • Provide support in other areas of the office as needed, which may include:
  • Front desk and scheduling support
  • Dental assisting support
  • Financial or administrative duties
  • General teamwork in keeping office flow efficient and positive

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working on computers and able to learn new systems quickly
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing daily needs
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating well with a team
  • A desire to help patients feel comfortable, informed, and excited about starting treatment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the dental or orthodontic field
  • Experience in treatment coordinating, patient communication, or case presentation
  • Sales or customer service experience
  • Familiarity with scheduling, administrative, or financial duties in a healthcare setting
  • Willingness to cross-train and assist in multiple areas of the office

This position is approximately 34-40 hours per week, typically working 4 to 4.5 days per week, Monday through Friday. Hourly wage is highly dependent on experience and skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
