Orthodontist

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Orthodontist to work one day per month preferably on a Saturday. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental and facial irregularities, creating treatment plans, and providing high-quality patient care. This role requires expertise in orthodontic procedures, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine orthodontic needs
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations
• Perform orthodontic procedures including braces placement, adjustments, and removals
• Collaborate with dental staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options and oral hygiene practices
• Stay updated on advancements in orthodontics and related technologies
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques during procedures

Skills

• Proficiency in dental software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, and Dentrix
• Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles and practices
• Experience with orthodontics techniques and four-handed dentistry
• Familiarity with dental terminology, and anatomy knowledge
• Expertise in patient care, assessment, and management.
• Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not mandatory.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety

Pay: $1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per day
