Orthodontist Assistant

Scott Orthodontics is a dynamic, well established orthodontic practice looking for a professional clinical assistant with excellent customer service skills to join our team. You must be reliable and able to demonstrate integrity in a demanding practice. At least 2 years experience is required, have knowledge of general orthodontic procedures such as bonding and banding techniques, taking impressions and diagnostic records. Certification in radiology is required. Orthodontic assisting certification is a plus. Candidate is required to travel to both offices located in Silver Spring and Mitchellville, Maryland. Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30am-5:30pm Monthly Bonuses, Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance, 401K and more! Serious, qualified candidates need only apply.

Responsibilities

-Perform orthodontic procedures with minimal supervision
- Assist the orthodontist chairside during procedures.
- Utilize knowledge of dental terminology.
- Operate 3D scanner for imaging purposes.
- Provide exceptional customer service as a Certified Orthodontic Assistant.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
