- Assist consultants in OPD, ward rounds, emergency, and operation theatre.
- Manage admissions, patient history taking, clinical examination, and documentation.
- Provide first-line management for orthopedic emergencies (fractures, dislocations, trauma).
- Assist in surgical procedures such as fracture fixation, joint replacement, arthroscopy, and wound care.
- Perform basic orthopedic procedures: plaster application, splinting, suturing, dressing changes, and removal of stitches/casts.
- Monitor pre-operative and post-operative patients, ensure proper follow-up care.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, physiotherapy, radiology, and other support departments.
- Maintain accurate medical records, case sheets, and discharge summaries.
- Participate in academic activities, CMEs, and departmental meetings.
- Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards.
