The Orthopedic Surgeon is a senior-level medical professional responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide ranges of musculoskeletal disorders. This role requires an advanced understanding of orthopedic principles and practices, along with the ability to perform complex surgical procedures and oversee comprehensive patient care. Job Requirements:

• A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in orthopedic surgery.
• Board certification in orthopedic surgery from a recognized certifying body.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic surgery, with a proven record of surgical outcomes.
• Proven ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough analysis of patient conditions and current best practices.
• Advanced knowledge of orthopedic technology, instrumentation, and surgical methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience in the management of orthopedic trauma, joint reconstruction, and arthroscopic surgery.
• Strong understanding of pre-operative and post-operative care protocols to ensure optimal patient recovery.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical concepts to patients and their families.
• Valid and unrestricted state medical license with the ability to obtain hospital privileges in multiple facilities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and assessments of patients to establish diagnoses related to orthopedic conditions.
• Perform an array of surgical procedures ranging from minimally invasive techniques to complex reconstructive surgeries.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physical therapists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive postoperative care.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment options, risks, and expected outcomes through clear and compassionate communication.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, including attending relevant medical conferences and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry advancements and evidence-based practices.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives to enhance surgical practices and patient care delivery.
• Supervise and mentor junior surgical practitioners and residents, fostering a culture of learning and professionalism within the medical team.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with regulatory standards and institutional policies.
• Participate in hospital committees or advisory boards as required to influence orthopedic treatment standards and best practices.
