Orthopedics Physician Assistant

Health Care System seeks to add another full-time Physician Assistant to their orthopedic team. This position is focused in the hospital supporting several Fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons. The Physician Assistant will provide first assist (total joints, spine, extremities and fractures), call schedule is minimal if any! ED Consults (fracture care), rounding and some inpatient management. The schedule is five, eight-hour day shifts per week (Monday to Friday).

Successful Physician Assistant should be PANCE-Certified/Eligible. The group will train a Physician Assistant with strong interest in orthopedics, especially surgery (first assists).

The opportunity is twenty-five plus minutes North of Houston. The area provides lots of universities, affordable living, great schools, and all the amenities of the city of Houston.

Compensation: depends on experience level and includes incentive bonus. Full benefits package includes medical, dental, vacation, STD, LTD, CME and 401k profit sharing.
