OSI PI Engineer

About the Client: One of the leading business Conglomerate in India

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain the OSI PI System (PI Server, PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces).
• Collect, store, and visualize real-time data from industrial processes.
• Develop PI Asset Framework (AF) models, templates, and event frames.
• Design and configure PI Vision dashboards and displays based on user requirements.
• Integrate data from field devices (PLC, SCADA, DCS systems) using standard PI interfaces and connectors.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data collection issues and PI system performance.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to understand and fulfil data requirements.
• Provide technical support, documentation, and user training related to the PI System.
• Assist in PI System upgrades, patches, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
• Participate in the development of reports and analytics based on process data.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electrical) or related field
• Familiarity with PI Data Archive, PR Asset Framework, PI Vision.
• Basic knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLC Systems and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC).
• Good knowledge of OPC UA and OPC DA protocol
• 2+ years of experience with OSIsoft PI system (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
