Job Description: OT Incharge

Location: Dr. Aravind’s IVF Center ( Harur, Attur,Namakkal,Pennagaram,Tirupattur,Dharmapuri)
Experience: Minimum 5 Years
Department: Operation Theatre (OT)

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all daily activities of the Operation Theatre, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
• Supervise OT staff, including nurses, technicians, and support personnel; provide training and performance evaluations.
• Maintain strict adherence to sterilization, infection control, and safety protocols within the OT.
• Coordinate with doctors, especially IVF specialists, to prepare for surgical and assisted reproductive procedures.
• Manage OT inventory including surgical instruments, equipment maintenance, and medical supplies.
• Schedule OT sessions effectively to optimize resource utilization and minimize patient wait times.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, legal regulations, and healthcare standards.
• Monitor and maintain documentation related to OT procedures, sterilization records, and equipment logs.
• Assist in procurement and maintenance of OT equipment and technology upgrades.
• Respond promptly to any emergencies or unforeseen complications during surgical procedures.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as an OT Incharge or similar role in a hospital or IVF center.
• In-depth knowledge of Operation Theatre management, sterilization processes, and surgical protocols.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
• Familiarity with IVF procedures and reproductive healthcare is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Nursing, OT technology, or relevant healthcare field is preferred.
