OT Manager - NAURU DEPLOYMENT

We Are Hiring: OT Manager
Country Location: Nauru Medical Centre, Republic of Nauru

Nauru Medical Centre is looking for a highly skilled and dedicated Operating Theatre (OT) Manager to lead and manage our surgical services department. The successful candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care in the operating theatre while overseeing staff, resources, and compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the Operating Theatre Department.
• Ensure adherence to international surgical safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Manage OT staff scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, and nursing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor equipment, instruments, and supplies to maintain readiness and safety.
• Develop and update OT policies, procedures, and clinical guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits, risk assessments, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to OT staff.
• Report OT performance and outcomes to hospital management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Allied Health (Master’s preferred).
• Valid professional license/registration.
• Minimum 7 years of hospital experience, including at least 3 years in OT management/leadership.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, infection control, and quality management.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multicultural healthcare environment.
