OT Nurse

§ To participate in the safe use of medical devices, ensuring that all equipment is maintained in working order.

§ Participates in ongoing consultation and collaboration with physicians and other care providers to maximize patient outcomes and unit specific goals

§ Provide training to new personnel on Operation Theatre procedures on a routine basis.

§ Demonstrates willingness to assist co-workers whenever needed

§ Interacting with peers, colleagues and participating in meetings to ensure that staff are advised of ongoing changes, requirements and preparation.

§ Responsible for coordinating with the biomedical department on issues related to equipment’s.

§ Coordinate with cross functional departments and ensure timely receiving of the reports

§ Coordinating of departments activities maintaining stocks and storing of drugs.

§ Assures the availability of necessary equipment, supplies, and instrumentation is established and continually managed.

§ Maintains good working relationships with other departments and with physicians, patients, families and outside agencies

§ Responsible for preparing the operation room prior to the operation and verify the necessary supplies and tools

§ Responsible for maintaining the OT equipment’s & sterilization area of the OT.

§ Timely identification and communication of any issues to ward manager.

§ Ensure the decontamination of instruments and equipment and properly dispose of contaminated materials.

§ Ensure proper documentation of OT patients and maintain their records.

§ Responsible for preparing gate passes for sending equipment’s & coordinate with security.

§ Assist the physician in treatments and surgical operations.

§ Be informed to surgeon on the arrival of the patient.

§ Responsible for instructing the patient in carrying out the physician's treatment

§ Furnishing correct information to the physician about patient condition based on the observation and recording documenting accurately.

§ Responsible for overseeing the consumable book entry pre-& post operation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
