OT Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architectures aligned with industry best practices and organizational objectives for OT/ICS environments,
• Perform vulnerability management, risk assessments, and threat modeling for OT systems and networks,
• Identify, assess, and prioritize security risks, and design mitigation strategies and solutions,
• Monitor and detect anomalies, intrusions, and attacks using SIEM, IDS/IPS, and OT security solutions (e.g., Claroty, Nozomi, etc),
• Design, implement, and maintain OT-specific security controls across industrial environments,
• Conduct Incident Response (IR) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within OT/ICS environments,
• Support & Execute penetration tests and red team engagements focused on OT systems,
• Ensure compliance with relevant security standards, regulations, and policies (IEC 62443, NIST, ISO 27001/27019, EPDK Cyber Security Maturity Model, etc.),
• Collaborate with IT, OT, and business teams to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization,
• Coordinate and enforce security requirements with third-party vendors and system integrators,
• Stay informed of the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and security technologies relevant to OT/ICS security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related disciplines,
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in cyber security, with focus on OT security engineering and/or architecture,
• Strong knowledge of ICS/OT networks, protocols, and Purdue Model concepts,
• Proficiency in ICS risk management and security architecture design,
• Solid understanding of vulnerabilities (application/infrastructure within OT), testing techniques (manual & automated), and remediation methods,
• Hands-on experience with OT security technologies: firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, and network segmentation,
• Proven ability to produce high-quality security documentation: reports, process designs, procedures, training materials,
• Proficiency in English is a must,
• Strong problem-solving skills, proactive and analytical mindset, motivated self-starter,
• Team-oriented with the ability to work collaboratively across IT, OT, and business stakeholders,
• GICSP, GRID, GPEN, CISSP, OSCP, IEC 62443 Cybersecurity certifications are a big plus.
