Operation Theatre (OT) Technician

OT Manager / Senior OT Nurse / Head of Surgical Services

Job Purpose

To assist in the preparation, maintenance and smooth functioning of the Operating Theatre (OT). Ensure all equipment, instruments and environment are sterile, ready for surgery. Support the surgical and anaesthesia teams during operations. Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor stock of consumables (gloves, sutures, drapes, etc.) and surgical instruments; restock as needed. Indeed+2MS Ramaiah Memorial Hospital+2
• Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during surgery: handing instruments, maintaining sterile fields, helping with equipment adjustments. smart-academy.in+3Expertia+3Indeed+3
• Assist in patient positioning (on operating table), transport patient to OT, help with pre-operative preparation. lmti.in+2smart-academy.in+2

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: often 1-3 years in OT environment preferred. For senior roles
