Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and nurses during surgical procedures by preparing and managing OT equipment and instruments.
  • Maintain sterility and cleanliness of the OT environment as per infection control protocols.
  • Responsible for pre- and post-operative OT setup, including arranging surgical tools and materials.
  • Monitor and check functionality of OT equipment regularly and report any issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation related to OT procedures and instrument usage.
  • Support patient positioning, shifting, and overall coordination during surgeries.
  • Adhere to safety, sterilization, and biomedical waste disposal guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in OT Technician course from a recognized institution.
  • 2-3years of relevant experience in a hospital or surgical center.
  • Familiarity with orthopedic and joint replacement procedures preferred.
  • Good understanding of OT protocols and sterile techniques.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
