Job Description: Operation Theatre (OT) Technician

Job Title: OT Technician

Department: Operation Theatre

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operation theatre before surgeries (cleaning, setting up instruments and equipment).
• Ensure all surgical instruments are sterilized and arranged as per procedure.
• Assist surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses during operations.
• Check and maintain OT equipment (surgical lights, suction machines, monitors, cautery, etc.).
• Handle surgical instruments during procedures.
• Monitor patients’ basic parameters if required.
• Maintain inventory of surgical supplies and report shortages.
• Follow infection control protocols and hospital safety standards.
• Dispose of biomedical waste as per guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and record keeping.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certification in OT Technology / Operation Theatre Technology.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a hospital OT setup (preferred).
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques and surgical instruments.
• Basic understanding of anesthesia equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
