Outdoor Sales Executive – Building Materials
(Job Requirements)
1. Experience & Industry Knowledge
- Minimum 2–4 years of outdoor sales experience, preferably in building materials, hardware, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of Building Materials products, materials specifications, and market trends.
- Existing client network with contractors, consultants, builders, and procurement teams is an advantage.
2. Sales Skills & Responsibilities
- Ability to identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and convert them into sales.
- Conduct regular market visits to contractors, project sites, and trading companies.
- Skilled in product presentation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ensure timely follow-up on quotations, inquiries, and payment collections.
- Maintain a strong sales pipeline and achieve given monthly/quarterly targets.
3. Communication & Relationship Management
- Excellent communication skills in English & Hindi (Arabic is an added advantage).
- Strong interpersonal skills to maintain long-term relationships with customers.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions.
4. Technical Competencies
- Ability to understand product specifications, interpret basic drawings, and explain technical features to clients.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM, and reporting tools.
- Must prepare daily reports, visit logs, and market feedback.
5. Personal Attributes
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- Professional attitude, discipline, and commitment to meeting timelines.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
6. Additional Requirements
- Valid UAE driving license (mandatory, if in UAE).
- Willing to travel extensively for customer visits and market coverage.
- Knowledge of local market geography and competitor products.
