Outdoor Salesman

Job description:

Outdoor Salesman will be responsible for identifying opportunities, building relationships with customers and vendors, and driving sales growth through outdoor channels. This includes expanding customer reach through outdoor stalls, pop-up markets, retail tie-ups, and community engagement activities. The role requires strong sales skills, market awareness, and the ability to develop strategies to boost supermarket revenue outside the traditional store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new outdoor sales opportunities (roadshows, community events, local markets, housing complexes).
  • Generate leads, pitch supermarket products/services, and convert prospects into customers.
  • Build partnerships with local vendors, event organizers, and community leaders to expand reach.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
  • Conduct market research to identify consumer trends and competitor activities.
  • Develop promotional campaigns for outdoor sales activities.
  • Train and guide field sales promoters/salesmen for better performance.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships for repeat business and referrals.
  • Provide reports on sales performance, leads, and conversion metrics to management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to plan and execute outdoor marketing campaigns.
  • Self-driven with a “hunter mentality” to acquire new customers.
  • Flexible to travel locally and work in outdoor environments.
  • Good knowledge of local market dynamics.

Working Conditions:

  • Field-based role with frequent travel.
  • Outdoor sales environment, with exposure to different weather conditions.
  • May involve weekend or evening shifts based on events/markets.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: BD230.000 - BD250.000 per month
