Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and outgoing Caregiver/CNA to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to clients in various settings, including private homes, assisted living communities, and group homes. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help enhance the quality of life for those you serve while ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive patient observation and personalized care.

Duties

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and changes in health status to ensure optimal care
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation
  • Support medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality and safety
  • Provide companionship by engaging clients in social activities, conversation, and recreational pursuits to promote mental well-being
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control protocols
  • Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident’s <PERSON> for safe transfers and mobility assistance

Qualifications

  • Valid CNA certification or relevant caregiving experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home & community care settings
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or autism is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and care planning
  • Certifications in CPR and First Aid are required; additional training in hospice or memory care is a plus
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when assisting with transfers or mobility support
  • Strong communication skills with a compassionate attitude toward clients of all ages and abilities
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
