Outpatient Pelvic Physical Therapist

St. Anthony’s Resource Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation Center , conveniently located in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida, offers a comprehensive range of outpatient rehabilitation services for adults and adolescents. Our highly skilled acute therapy team specializes in sports injuries, musculoskeletal disorders, post-surgical limitations and other conditions affecting mobility and quality of life.

Outpatient Pelvic Physical Therapist Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with pelvic floor conditions, including internal and external assessments.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and functional impairments.
  • Treat conditions such as urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum dysfunction, diastasis recti, pelvic organ prolapse, and more.
  • Utilize manual therapy, biofeedback, electrical stimulation, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
  • Collaborate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and departmental standards.
  • Educate patients on self-management strategies and preventive care.

Requirements :

  • Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Required PT (Physical Therapy)
  • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
  • Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
  • Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy
  • Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist
