JOB PURPOSE:
To manage the delivery of outreach programs that support the Centre’s vision and mission. To identify revenue streams for WISH outreach programs and identify new areas for collaborative programs, particularly with local partners.
KEY RESULT AREAS:
Strategic Program Management:

Manage strategic programs and special projects to enhance WISH’s local and international status.

Develop and oversee program plans, ensuring the timely achievement of key milestones.

Manage relationships with key national entities for collaborative programs.
Stakeholder Engagement:
-
Promote WISH to partners through one-on-one meetings, presentations, and participation in events.
-
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders for knowledge transfer and sustainability.
-
Identify opportunities to build a network of local long-term supporters.
Collaboration and Partnerships:
-
Work with the WISH team to identify and develop potential collaborations leading to long-term partnerships.

Collaborate with internal teams to deliver programs and events derived from partnerships.
Fundraising and Revenue Generation:

Support the Director of Partnerships and Outreach in developing and executing a resource mobilization and sponsorship strategy.

Prepare and present regular fundraising progress reports.

Generate revenue for outreach programs in alignment with QF sponsorship strategy.

Support the production of sponsorship plans and effective fundraising pitch materials.
Communications and Representation:

Act as a spokesperson for WISH, delivering accurate information about its activities.

Develop partner and sponsor recognition and retention programs.

Liaise with Qatari government ministries and represent WISH in dealings with ministerial representatives.

Contribute to the development of a WISH communication strategy aligned with QF’s one.

Management and content creation aligned with WISH's communication strategy for all digital platforms, including the website, and serving as the primary focal point for QF's internal communications.
Mentorship and Team Development:

Mentor junior staff, fostering their professional growth and development.

Encourage and support team members to achieve their full potential.

Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, a Master’s degree is an advantage
-
8-10 years of relevant full-time work experience in Communications, Partnerships, Sponsorships and/or Protocol, 3 of which at a supervisory level.

International experience, preferably in the Middle East; knowledge of QF is an advantage.

Ability to engage with both the public and private arenas across different sectors, especially in Qatar.

Ability to present at a very senior level and be both versatile and commanding in their ability to engage.

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop productive working relationships with external organizations or contractors and internal delivery partners.

Experience in strategic communications is highly desirable and a good knowledge of how messaging is best employed with different groups is critical.

Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is mandatory.

Proficiency in MS Office applications.
