About the Role

Do you thrive on building relationships, closing deals, and helping customers succeed? At Iconic Machinery, we’re looking for a motivated Outside Sales Territory Manager to represent the Bobcat brand and drive sales growth across Placer and El Dorado counties.

You’ll be out in the field every day meeting customers, learning their needs, and providing them with equipment solutions that help them get the job done. This role is perfect for a competitive, self-driven professional who enjoys working independently while being backed by a strong, family-owned dealership network.

Since 1973, Iconic Machinery has been a family-owned and operated Bobcat dealership network serving Northern California. With 6 locations — Chico, Redding, Eureka, Grass Valley, Yreka, and Yuba City — we’ve built a 50-year reputation for best-in-class equipment and service.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and grow sales within Placer and El Dorado counties, focusing on compact equipment and attachments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, farmers, ranchers, municipalities, and acreage owners.
  • Conduct equipment demonstrations and site visits to understand customer needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through proactive outreach.
  • Collaborate with inside sales, service, and parts departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions.
  • Represent the Bobcat brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team goals.
  • Basic computer proficiency (CRM, email, Microsoft Office, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Bonus Points

  • Prior experience in equipment, agricultural, or construction sales.
  • Knowledge of Bobcat or other compact equipment.
  • Existing relationships in Placer or El Dorado counties.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
