Outsource Engineer

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in outsourcing/vendor coordination in machining/manufacturing industry.
• Exposure to Oil & Gas / Aerospace / Defense sector requirements will be an advantage
• Coordinate with external vendors/subcontractors for machining, fabrication, surface treatment, and related processes.
• Review technical drawings, machining requirements, and process specifications before outsourcing.
• Ensure outsourced work meets Gemsons’ quality standards, dimensional accuracy, and compliance requirements.
• Conduct vendor visits to monitor progress, quality checks, and adherence to timelines.
• Negotiate lead times, resolve technical queries, and maintain cost-effectiveness in outsourcing activities.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team for inspection and approval of outsourced components.
• Prepare reports on vendor performance, cost analysis, and process improvements.
• Support production planning by ensuring timely availability of outsourced parts.
• Maintain documentation related to outsourced processes, approvals, and vendor communications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per year
